As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for marketing relevant technologies and equipment. Ideally, you already have competencies related to the business field. In addition to technical skills, you are also expected to have legal, economic, and psychological competencies. As a Sales Engineer, you serve as the crucial link between the company and the customer.
Ideally, you should also possess excellent communication skills, foreign language proficiency (English; Russian is a plus), willingness to travel, and a genuine interest in the business field.
As a Sales Engineer, you combine technical knowledge with communication psychology and market-specific expertise to effectively market technological products. In essence, you work in an interdisciplinary field as a Sales Engineer, always guided by the principle of integrated customer orientation. In the course of the sales process, you will perform various activities and tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sales of technical services and technological products
- Development of the sales strategy
- Implementation of sales and marketing activities
- Market and competition analysis
- Proposal preparation and order processing
- Pre-Sales and After-Sales Management
- Acquisition of new customers

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Have a successful technical degree in process engineering, plant engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical background.
- Possess at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in customer relations.
- Ideally, have industry knowledge.
- Have a sales-oriented mindset, enjoy interacting with customers, and building a trustful basis for collaboration.
- Be fluent in English and (desirable) Russian and have enthusiasm for business travel

As a Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for managing projects in the field of biochar industrial plants. Ideally, you should already have competencies related to this business sector. - Assisting in project acquisition, consultation, and assessment.
- Conceptualization, development, and planning of retrofitting, new construction, and upgrade projects.
- Preparing investment decisions through feasibility studies and evaluating technical, ecological, and legal frameworks.
- Managing planning and approval processes and contributing to financing.
- Conducting tenders, overseeing construction, and providing support during the commissioning phase.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Hold a degree in engineering, agricultural economics, energy, environmental, or process engineering, or possess a comparable qualification, along with a solid understanding of business, planning, and legal aspects.
- Have relevant work experience in the biomass utilization field and project management.
- Possess knowledge of permitting, planning, hazardous substance regulations, relevant technical standards, grid integration, and funding possibilities, as well as familiarity with renewable energy laws. Your interest in interfaces with other renewable energy technologies completes your professional profile.
